Javier offers 32 years of experience and combines old methods with new technology. Quality Vineyard Management is a full management company. Since our inaugural vintage Javier and Quality Vineyard Management have been involved in everything, from clearing out the land for new vines,  designing the layout of the vineyard for the new varietals, to helping choose the rootstock, and of course maintaining the vineyard with pruning and tying.  Javier works closely with the entire family and Don Baker to accomplish the quality and the quantity of the grapes. With nineteen years at Sterling Vineyards as Manager and twelve years at Hartwell Vineyards as General Manager, Javier is knowledgable both in the vineyard as well as in the winery. His hand picked crews are well trained and strive for balance in the vineyards. Like Sciandri Family Vineyards, Quality Vineyard Management is a famliy run operation.
