Sciandri Family Vineyards is a small family owned and operated winery in the heart of Coombsville in the Napa Valley. Drawing from it's roots in a small village in Italy, Quercia, the Sciandri Family is excited to begin a new venture into the world of wine.
Upon arriving in Napa and making “Coombsville” their home, the Sciandri family began witnessing first hand the quality of wines being made in their unique corner of the valley and began planting vines. Over the next few years they sold their harvest to a respected winery in the valley, but they always wanted to make this more of a family venture.
In 2006 Ron and Roberta Sciandri made the decision to start Sciandri Family Vineyards. They had much to learn and thankfully each member of the family has jumped in a take charge of a particular portion of the business. The family has also teamed up with Javier Renteria (Vineyard Manager) and Don Baker (Wine Maker) who bring to the table over 100 combined years of experience in the wine industry. Using the grapes grown on the families 20 acre estate, they currently only bottle an Estate Grown-Cabernet Sauvignon.
For the family, the goals are modest. They want to produce a wine that they are proud to serve to family and friends, and they want to have fun in the process. It is clear, that they have succeeded on both fronts.
